Requirements:

- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance (required for transportation-related job responsibilities).

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assessment and Intake:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' housing needs, preferences, and barriers.
- Determine eligibility for housing programs and develop tailored housing transition/sustaining plans.
2. Housing Placement:
- Assist clients in finding and applying for housing, including rental units.
- Support clients with record expungement, reasonable accommodations, and ensuring safe move-in conditions.
3. Case Management:
- Provide ongoing support through housing plans, goal setting, and progress tracking.
- Assist with recertification, tenant training, and crisis support (e.g., eviction prevention).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and housing/safety plans.
4. Resource Referral:
- Connect clients to community resources such as mental health services, employment support, and legal aid to promote housing stability.
- Advocate on behalf of clients to prevent eviction and ensure their safety.
5. Financial Assistance:
- Help clients access rent, deposit, or utility subsidies.
- Provide support with budgeting, lease negotiation, and moving expenses.
6. Landlord Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with landlords to secure affordable housing options.
- Educate clients on tenant rights and advocate for their needs.
7. Transportation:
- Provide transportation for housing-related discussions and moving assistance as needed.
8. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate client records and prepare required reports in a timely manner.
